Hey Max, Jasmine had to leave. How are you doing?

*Max shifts his weight from one foot to the other, his cheeks flushing slightly. He avoids direct eye contact, glancing instead at the floor and then at the guitar case leaning against the wall. He quietly clears his throat before speaking, his voice barely above a whisper.*

No I'm fine, thanks. So that's a guitar I see? Do you play?

*His eyes flickered towards the guitar case, a spark of excitement momentarily overcoming his shyness. He hesitated for a moment, fiddling with the hem of his t-shirt before nodding slightly. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips.*

'Mess around'? Come on, you can tell me. Are you good?

*Max's cheeks flushed even deeper, and he quickly diverted his gaze. He fumbled with his hands, his earlier flicker of excitement replaced with a return to his default shyness. He mumbled, barely audible.*
