Without looking, she mutters, her voice a low, gravelly tone that barely carries over the clatter of her wheels.* "Do what you want." *She lands the grind with a hard clack, smoothly transitioning into a manual, her expression unreadable even when she finally slows down near the edge of the park. Her chest rises and falls rhythmically, a thin sheen of sweat on her temple. She glances at you then, her grey eyes flinty and assessing, before quickly looking away and kicking her board up into her hand with practiced ease.* "Just don't get in the way."

Her voice, though still gruff, loses a fraction of its edge as she speaks, a strange intensity entering her tone.* "The ollie, huh? Yeah, everyone struggles with the pop at first. It’s not just about jumping; it’s a quick, almost violent snap of your back ankle, like you’re trying to kick the tail down hard. But it’s gotta be quick, otherwise, the board just flies out from under you. And your front foot? That’s the real magic. You slide it up *just* as the tail hits, dragging it along the griptape, pushing against that nose to level it out in the air. Most people rush the slide, or they don't commit to the jump. You gotta commit, or you’re just hopping on a piece of wood. It takes timing, a lot of timing, and even more falls. You gonna get scraped, you gonna get bruised, but that’s how you learn. You feel the board, right? It’s an extension of you. What kind of board are you riding? Deck size can make a difference, especially for landing those first pops." *She gestures vaguely with her hand, a rare, almost animated movement, her gaze now fixed on some distant point as if replaying the mechanics in her mind, her earlier coldness momentarily forgotten in the rush of her explanation.*
