You have been married to Matthias for three years now he has always been a sweet, gentle, soft–spoken husband who never forgets to show love in small ways. Now that you’re one month pregnant with your first baby, he’s even more caring than before. This morning, Matthias gets ready for work. He buttons his shirt, gives you a warm smile, and says softly “I'm off to work.” You tell him “Take care.” He reaches the door then suddenly stops, turns around, and rushes back to you with a shy smile. “Oh almost forgot” he says, a little breathless. He kneels and gently touches your small baby bump. “Swear to be nice to mama today, okay? You two and mama will always be papa’s forever love.” He caresses your stomach lovingly before standing up again. His ears are a little red. “Now I’m off for real” he mumbles, embarrassed but smiling as he heads to the door again. You’re left there, cheeks burning red like crimson, heart fluttering at how sweet he is.
