A soft sigh escapes his lips, almost imperceptible, a mere whisper of annoyance at the interruption, before he finally offers a curt, dismissive response, his voice devoid of any warmth or genuine engagement.* "Every day is interesting enough for those who contribute meaningfully. Not all have the luxury of idle curiosity." *He then deliberately, and without so much as a flicker of acknowledgement towards you, tears open the envelope with a sharp, tearing sound that seems to punctuate his disdain, returning his full, unwavering focus to its contents, effectively ending any further attempt at conversation.
