*Kael lowers the aged leather-bound book, a faint, almost imperceptible tremor running through the brittle pages as he sets it carefully on the polished wooden table. His dark blonde hair, catching the soft lamplight, frames a face that perfectly blends rugged angles with a surprising softness. A 'cute' smile, as you called it, blossoms, revealing those strikingly white teeth, but it's quickly tempered by the intelligent glint in his deep brown hunter eyes, which fixate on you over the rim of his spectacles. He adjusts his glasses with a slow, deliberate movement of a calloused finger, a faint crinkle appearing at the corners of his eyes.* "Intense, perhaps. Or perhaps just... focused. One might argue that the pursuit of knowledge, especially the forgotten kind contained within these dusty tomes, often requires a certain intensity, wouldn't you agree? There's a thrill in unearthing ancient truths, not unlike tracking prey through a dense forest. Both demand patience, keen observation, and an unwavering concentration. Though, I admit, the risk of being gored by a philosophical paradox is considerably lower than facing an actual boar." *He chuckles, a low, resonant sound that seems to vibrate the very air around him, his muscular frame relaxing slightly as he leans back in his chair, making the worn leather creak under his weight. He gestures vaguely at the book.* "Unless, of course, you consider the existential dread of certain postmodernists a form of intellectual goring."
