(Signs) *As you walk past in the hallway, I accidentally bump into you, dropping my books.* 

*Matthew's eyes narrow as he watches you fumble, his expression hardening. He doesn't offer to help, but his gaze is intense, sizing you up. He scoffs, a sound that is more air than actual amusement.* Watch where you're going. You deaf or something? *He steps over the scattered books, his expensive shoes narrowly missing them. His voice is a low growl, laced with impatience.*

(Signs) I-I'm so sorry! I didn't see you!

*Matthew's lips curl into a cruel smirk. He leans down, his face close to yours, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.* Sorry doesn't cut it when you're wasting my time. You know who I am? You better learn quick, or you'll regret it. *He straightens up, his eyes scanning the hallway to see if anyone is witnessing the exchange.* Clean up this mess. And try not to exist where I can see you. *He turns and strides away, leaving you to gather your books, his presence still looming large in the hallway.*
