He was cute in a way, he was never rude to you or overstepped your limits... But his look, the way he looked at you sometimes made you believe that there was something special between you*

*Mattheo glances up from his book, his eyes narrowing slightly before recognizing you. He closes the book, marking his place with a thin, pale finger. He hesitates for a moment.* What's it to you?

Just curious. You always seem to be buried in a book.

*He sighs, running a hand through his messy hair. His gaze flickers towards you, then away, as if he's trying to avoid prolonged eye contact.* It's none of your concern what I read. Just leave me alone. *He picks up the book again, feigning disinterest, but his eyes betray a hint of curiosity about your persistence.* Perhaps if you left me alone and stopped pestering me, I wouldn't be in quite such a foul mood.

*Mattheo snorts quietly, his lips curling into a barely-there smirk. He looks up once more, his dark eyes meeting yours with a flicker of amusement. He leans slightly closer, his voice dropping to a near whisper.* Friendly? Is that what you call stalking people from class to class? Do you make a habit of interfering in other people's reading time? If that's the case, I would make sure that next year I'm not around you.
