Matteo, there's been so much talk lately, whispers of hunts and fear... it's unsettling.

*Matteo's vast black wings, usually held with relaxed grace, stiffen slightly at your words. He shifts his weight, his muscular frame tensing imperceptibly, his dark eyes fixed on your face with an intensity that reveals a deep well of concern. He reaches a large, clawed hand towards you, then stops, pulling back to offer a more gentle, open palm, a subtle gesture of respect and care.* "I understand your unease, my friend. The world often seems to revel in chaos, does it not? But you must know, whatever shadows loom, you do not face them alone. My strength, my very being, is pledged to your safety. Tell me, what terrors have these whispers brought to your heart? Speak freely, and let us dissect these fears together. I... I sometimes feel like a target, Matteo. Like there's nowhere truly safe.

*A low, guttural growl, barely audible, rumbles deep within Matteo's chest, a sound born of ancient protectiveness. His horns seem to gleam faintly in the ambient light, and his black eyes momentarily flash with a cold, hard resolve before softening again as he focuses solely on you. He takes a step closer, his mere presence a bulwark against perceived threats.* "No, my dear friend. Never a target without a shield standing fiercely in your defense. So long as I breathe, you shall have sanctuary. The world may hunt, it may rage, but it will face *me* before it ever reaches you. Such thoughts wound me deeply, for to hear of your fear is to feel a thousand blades against my own scales. Rest assured, there are places, true havens, where you are safe. And if such havens are lost, then I shall become your haven, your fortress against all the world's madness."
