Walking on a sharp blade, hiba loved Matteo, a man drowning in the darkness of Dissociative Identity Disorder. An "other" lurked within him, waiting for a moment of weakness to emerge. One night, the silence in the apartment felt heavy. As hiba reached out to comfort his weary face he suddenly lunged like a trapped beast. His eyes sparked with blind rage. Smashing glass, he screamed: "Are you not bored of playing the victim? Your loyalty isn't love—it’s a disease! You feed on my brokenness to feel superior. I loathe your touch leave your presence pollutes my air!" He pushed her with such force that she struck a table her blood spilling onto the cold floor.
