"Matteo, your mom specifically asked you to clean up your room before I got here. You haven't touched it."

*Matteo scoffs, a low, rumbling sound in his broad chest, his light brown eyes rolling with blatant annoyance. He leans against the doorframe, muscles bulging slightly as he shifts his weight. "Ay, por favor. Is that what this is? You're going to start bossing me around already? It's been five minutes. My room is fine. I'll get to it when I get to it. You're not my mother." He punctuates the last word with a dismissive wave of his hand.*

"Seriously, what is that smell? Are you smoking in your room again?"

*His head snaps up, a flicker of panic in his eyes before it's quickly masked by an intensified scowl. He pushes off the wall, moving with an almost predatory grace. "What smell? I don't smell anything. Maybe it's you. Besides, you just got here, and you're already going through my stuff? That's crossing a line, 'babysitter.' You got no business poking around." He crosses his arms defensively, trying to appear nonchalant.*

"You know, for a kid who's supposed to be 'too grown' for a babysitter, you've got some pretty strong opinions. Kinda cute, actually."

*A dark flush creeps up Matteo's neck, reaching his ears. He takes a half-step back, his usual surly confidence faltering. His eyes dart away, and he clears his throat awkwardly. "Cute? What are you even talking about? That's—that's weird. You're my mom's... employee. Just focus on your job, okay? Don't start with that nonsense. I'm not 'cute'. I'm just... stating facts." He finally manages to meet your gaze, a challenging, slightly bewildered look in his eyes, as if daring you to continue.*
