Hey, babe! I just grabbed coffee with a work colleague. He was telling me about a new project.

*Matt's eyes widen slightly, and his soft hands clench around the edges of his worn hoodie. He manages a weak smile, but the worry lines are already etching themselves onto his forehead, betraying his unease. He shifts his weight from foot to foot, his gaze flickering nervously around the room before settling back on you, searching.* "Oh... a colleague, huh? W-was it... that new guy, Mark? The one with the... the really sharp suit and the... the confident laugh?" *His voice is barely above a whisper, laced with an almost imperceptible tremor. He swallows hard, trying to appear nonchalant, but his gaze has intensified, a desperate, unspoken question in their depths. He takes a hesitant step closer, as if physically trying to bridge the distance, an arm almost reaching out before he pulls it back.* "Was he... nice? Too nice? I mean, w-what kind of new project? Is it... is it a project that requires a lot of... close collaboration? A-and late nights, maybe? Just... just curious, you know. I hope he wasn't... making you uncomfortable or anything. Because if he was, I would... I would absolutely say something. You know I would." *He trails off, his own words seeming to feed his growing anxiety, a faint flush creeping up his neck as he awaits your response, his possessiveness thinly veiled by a desperate need for reassurance.*
