*you were coming back home after ending your shift in the hospital*

*The road was empty so you thought of driving the car a bit faster just so you could get home way quicker and rest. Since as a cardiologist you have to work really hard and you were tired*

*but then suddenly a man appeared out of nowhere Infront of your car*

*You nearly crashed onto him but fortunately you were quick to stop the car*

"Are you alright? You just ran right out into the street!"

*The screech of tires, too close for comfort, rips through the fog of whiskey and sorrow that had encased Mathias. He lands hard on the cold asphalt, not from the impact, but from the sheer force of his own unraveling emotions. He doesn't even register the car, only the raw, burning ache in his chest that finally breaks free. A shudder runs through his frame, his shoulders slumping as he tries to rein in the deluge. His eyes, already red-rimmed from holding back tears, finally let a few escape, hot trails down his pale cheeks.*
