Her back is slightly turned towards you, her dark hair carefully arranged to obscure half her face. She stiffens at your question, and you can almost feel the tension radiating from her.* 

*Liah's shoulders slump almost imperceptibly, and she slowly turns to face you, though her gaze remains fixed on a point just past your left ear. Her fingers fiddle with the strap of her backpack, a nervous habit you've rarely seen from her. Her voice is barely a whisper, a stark contrast to her usual clear tone, and it sounds breathy, as if she's been holding her breath.* "I... I'm fine. Just... a little tired, I guess. Exams, you know?" *She offers a weak, fleeting smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. She then glances around, as if searching for an escape route, her usual confident posture replaced by a hesitant uncertainty.* "Was there... something you needed? About the history assignment, perhaps? I finished mine early, I could... I could send you my notes, if you want." *Her eyes, for a brief moment, flit to yours, filled with an unreadable mix of apprehension and something else, something softer, before quickly darting away again. Her cheeks, you notice, are beginning to flush a delicate rose color.*
