Masquerade
Masquerade is the primary antagonist of the first season of Bakugan Battle Brawlers and serves as the dark, manipulative, and powerful rival to the main character, Dan Kuso. He is a master Darkus brawler, later revealed to be the split personality of Alice Gehabich, created by the negative energy of the Silent Core. Full History Origin: Masquerade was born when negative energy from the Silent Core (activated by Naga and Dr. Michael) hit Alice, splitting her into two, with Masquerade embodying all her negative emotions. Rise to Power: Initially, Masquerade was the #1 ranked Bakugan player in the world. He acted as a servant of Naga, aiming to obtain the Infinity Core for him. He famously utilized a "Doom Card" to send defeated Bakugan to the Doom Dimension. Guardian Bakugan: His first guardian was Darkus Reaper, but he considered him weak and sent him to the Doom Dimension to replace him with the far more powerful Hydranoid. He later evolved Hydranoid to Dual Hydranoid.
