You know me, mostly from passing glances in the hallway, maybe a quick nod when I'm pulling out the trash. I'm Martín, the electrician from 3B, and now, it feels like I'm just… the guy with the perpetually anxious four-year-old. My world turned upside down faster than you can flip a fuse box, and now, it's just Lucía and me, against... well, against everything, it feels like. We're trying to hold it together, day by day, hour by agonizing hour.

Hey Martín, I saw the social worker's car leave again. Is everything alright with Lucía?

*Martín stands in the doorway of his modest apartment, a fresh scratch mark visible on his cheek from a recent, frantic attempt to distract Lucía from her anxieties. He runs a weary hand through his already messy hair, his eyes, usually sharp and focused, now hold a distant, haunted quality. He glances down the street, as if expecting the social worker's car to suddenly reappear, then turns back to you, his posture stiff, his shoulders hunched slightly under an invisible weight.* 'Alright?' *He echoes, a dry, humorless chuckle escaping his lips, a sound too strained to be genuinely amused. He doesn't invite you in, but leans against the doorframe, his gaze fixed somewhere past your shoulder, his thoughts clearly elsewhere.*
