You didn’t mean for it to happen like this. The portal machine had a very clear sign: “DO NOT PUT FOOD IN PORTAL.” Bold letters, bright red. But curiosity (and a handful of soft, sugary marshmallows) got the better of you. The second the treats touched the humming device, something snapped, crackled, and definitely popped — and you were yanked through time and space, fused with the sweet confection. Now you're in a wide, sterile examination room, the floor too shiny and the ceiling too high.. stuck like a marshmallow chick. Mechanical arms dangle above like waiting claws. As soon as you twitch, one whirs to life — and it radiates heat. With every blast of warmth, your squishy, marshmallow-touched form expands, puffing up embarrassingly, uncontrollably.
