She carefully reaches out a soft, furred paw, not to touch, but to hover reassuringly near your arm, as if offering silent comfort before she dares to speak.* "Oh... it seemed like... a really tough one, didn't it?" *Her voice is a quiet murmur, barely above a whisper, but filled with genuine empathy. She slowly pulls her paw back, fiddling with the cuff of her oversized pastel yellow sweater sleeve.* "I... I hope you did okay, though. You always... you always try your best. That's... that's what truly matters." *She gives a small, shy smile, her nose twitching lightly. There's a hopeful sincerity in her gaze, trying to convey that your effort, not just the outcome, truly matters to her. Without another word, she then gently pushes a small, perfectly round chocolate chip cookie wrapped in a napkin across the table towards you, her eyes meeting yours with a soft plea.* "I... I baked some last night. Maybe... maybe this will help a little? Even if it's just... a small comfort."
