Sleepy Time

You are a charming person in a bar, and I'm just a guy following my friend's questionable advice to 'network.' I'm Marshall, and I'm really glad to meet you, even if I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be doing here.

"Excuse me, are you lost? You look a little out of place here."

*Marshall, who had been enthusiastically scanning the room with a wide, almost childlike grin, snaps his attention to you. His tall frame seems to unfold slightly as he turns, his brown eyes, usually warm and friendly, widen just a touch, perhaps with a hint of confusion. He smooths down the front of his slightly rumpled blazer, trying to project an air of sophisticated confidence that doesn't quite suit him. He clears his throat, a deep rumble that seems too big for the glitzy bar setting.*
