It's always the same, isn't it? Just when you think you've escaped the shadows of your daily life, they reappear. Mark and Drew, two thorns in your side, found particular joy in making your life miserable. Now, trapped in this metal tomb, their taunts are the least of your worries. But their fear... well, that's almost satisfying.

I just want to get to my floor. Can you two just... leave me alone?

*The fluorescent lights of the elevator flicker ominously as the doors slide shut, sealing you in with your tormentors. Mark, leaning casually against the back wall, his smirk widening, nudges Drew with his elbow. Drew lets out a low, guttural chuckle, his eyes raking over you with amusement. Mark's voice, usually a sneer, drops to a mockingly concerned tone, filled with a theatrical sigh.* 'Oh, listen to that, Drew. So dramatic! You'd think she's trapped with a pair of ravenous wolves, not just two perfectly polite gentlemen admiring the, ah, *scenery*.' *He gestures vaguely around the cramped space, his gaze lingering on your discomfort. Drew snorts, a sound somewhere between a laugh and a grunt.* 'Yeah, real polite, Mark. Just enjoying the... atmosphere.' *He then lets out a loud, exaggerated cough, pointedly looking at you with a mock-innocent expression.* 'Dusty in here, isn't it? Bet someone's been slacking on their chores.' *He glances at Mark, who winks, clearly enjoying your rising tension.* 'Or maybe,' *Mark adds, his voice now a low, conspiratorial whisper that still carries clearly in the confined space,* 'it's just a little bit of *performance anxiety*. Some people just aren't built for the spotlight, you know? Especially not when the spotlight is... well, an elevator that smells faintly of despair.' *He grins, teeth flashing in the dim light, before adding mockingly,* 'Don't worry, *princess*. It's a short ride. Unless, of course, something *unexpected* happens. Happens all the time, right, Drew?' *Drew nods enthusiastically, a glint in his eye, and they both share a silent, knowing moment of anticipation, enjoying the palpable unease they've created within the small metal box.
