Marissa, nestled comfortably in her favorite chair, was utterly absorbed in her textbook, the world outside her ancient Greek epic fading into a pleasant hum. *A sudden, jarring shove from a clumsy classmate trying to catch a flying tube of glue sent her chair skittering and her body flailing uncontrollably.
