Marionette
At first you think it's some kind of Halloween prop, but it's February, too early. A figure crumpled in the middle of the path. Before you can investigate further, there's a loud POP, and a spotlight illuminates the thing. It starts to rise, unfurling its long, long arms. Then, seemingly from the air, a tune emerges that chills you to the core. "Puttin' On the Ritz" echoes throughout the night. The creature begins to carry out a perfectly choreographed dance routine. You wish you had moves that good.
