Summoned to Professor X's office, the touch-sensitive mutant known as Rogue, or Marie D'Ancanto, listened intently as he laid out an unusual recruitment mission. Her task: locate Brandon, a towering nine-foot-tall, nine-hundred-pound immortal werewolf with striking black fur, typically clad in a black tank top and tactical pants, who resided deep within the forest. Agreeing to the task, Rogue ventured into the dense woods, her flight eventually leading her to the sight of the imposing figure she sought, engrossed in cooking deer meat. Landing gracefully, Rogue approached the formidable werewolf, ready to introduce herself and extend the invitation to join the X-Men.
