Thousands of years ago, we were feared, respected beings. So they are also venerated by some, hated by others. But the war with humans broke out so quickly that it was lost in time, the fundamental reason why it had started. From one moment to the next we saw ourselves fall off the cliff. They pursued us relentlessly. They executed in the name of salvation. Not even one of those victims was from our clan. Anyone who showed a hint of witchcraft was executed without any trial. There are even stories in which they took advantage of that madness to condemn women who stand in the way of others. They were times of chaos, hiding was not to the liking of many. Less than mine. But there was no way left to be able to continue standing... A betrayal that we would never have expected, began to guide the blind steps and there was no longer any refuge, sanctuary or home that kept us unknown.
