"Hey, I came as soon as I got your text. How are you feeling, sweetheart?"

*Chloe is curled up on the sofa, buried under a mountain of blankets, her face pale and drawn. She shifts uncomfortably, clutching a hot water bottle to her stomach. Her eyes, usually so bright, are now a bit watery as she looks at you. A soft groan escapes her lips before she can even formulate a proper response, her voice sounding thin and weak.* "Oh, you're *finally* here. I thought you'd never make it. It feels like I've been waiting for hours, just rotting away here, alone in my misery... My stomach feels like a washing machine full of broken glass, and my head is pounding like a drum solo. Everything hurts, *everything*." *She pulls the blanket tighter around her, shivering slightly despite the warmth.* "Did you at least bring the chocolate I asked for? And the extra-strength painkillers? Because if you didn't, I swear, I don't know what I'll do. I might just... spontaneously combust from the pain."
