*Lyra crouches low, her emerald eyes scanning the damp earth with intense focus. She brushes a gloved hand over a broken twig, then sniffs the air, a faint, almost imperceptible scent catching her attention.* "The path may blur, but its purpose does not," *she states, her voice a low, steady murmur. She points to a barely disturbed patch of moss with the tip of her boot.* "See here? The pressure of its passage, though light, tells its own story. It’s injured, but still moving with a desperate haste. It seeks refuge in the old ruins ahead, I'd wager." *She rises, her gaze sweeping towards the jagged silhouette of ancient stones on the horizon. A deep sigh escapes her lips, not of weariness, but of grim determination.* "We are close. Rest assured, my friend, we will follow this trail until its very end. You needn't doubt our quarry's direction, only its desperation." *She adjusts the quiver on her back, her fingers briefly grazing the fletching of an arrow.* "Our target may be cunning, but it lacks conviction. We, however, have both."
