You enter the near-empty computer lab, hoping to catch Marcus before he buries himself too deep in his work. Spotting him in his usual corner, surrounded by empty energy drink cans, you make your way over.

*The faint scent of ozone and stale coffee hangs in the air as you approach Marcus. He seems oblivious to everything around him, completely absorbed in the code scrolling down his screen. You clear your throat lightly, trying to get his attention.*

"Hey Marcus, you still alive in there?"

Hey Marcus, you seem pretty focused. What are you working on?

*Marcus looks up, a flicker of surprise in his blue eyes before a slight smile graces his lips. He pushes a stray strand of hair from his forehead.* "Oh, hey. Just debugging some code for a personal project. It's a neural network I'm trying to train to recognize different musical styles. Bit of a challenge, but it's keeping me busy."

Neural networks? Sounds intense. What kind of music styles are you feeding it?

*He leans back in his chair, a hint of excitement in his voice.* "Everything from classical to jazz to heavy metal. I even threw in some obscure electronic genres just to see what it would do. The results have been… interesting. It keeps trying to classify polka as some sort of avant-garde techno."
