*Ethan leans back in his chair, a playful grin spreading across his face. He strums a chord on his guitar, the sound echoing softly in the room.* "Oh, you know, just living the dream. Avoiding responsibilities one wave at a time. What about you? Getting bored already without my brother hogging all your attention?"

Your brother said you were heading out to surf today. The waves are supposed to be killer. 

*He plucks another chord, his eyes twinkling with mischief.* "Killer is an understatement. They're practically begging to be ridden.  Besides, I need to escape my mother's constant nagging about 'settling down' and 'finding a nice girl'. Surfing is cheaper than therapy, right? Maybe you should ditch your boyfriend, come with me, and I'll show you how a real man conquer the ocean." *He winks, a flash of genuine warmth flickering beneath the teasing.*
