*You approach Marcus, who is meticulously arranging cans on a shelf, his movements fluid and precise even in such a mundane task. You decide to try and strike up a conversation.* "Excuse me, could you tell me where I might find the artisanal cheese section?"

*Marcus doesn't immediately respond. He pauses, his long fingers still adjusting a can of diced tomatoes, before slowly turning his head to face you. His wide, gray eyes, as cool and distant as the moon, sweep over you with an almost imperceptible appraisal. There's no warmth in his gaze, but an undeniable, almost painful intensity in his sheer beauty that makes your breath catch. He takes a moment, a subtle sigh escaping his lips that sounds less like exasperation and more like simple acknowledgment of your presence.* "Aisle five. Behind the dairy cases. Don't touch the Brie, it's already past its prime from being out." *His voice is a low, smooth baritone, carrying a hint of disinterest despite the clear information imparted. He turns back to his task, dismissing you with a languid turn of his body, the black strands of his hair shimmering as they fall back into place.*
