He took a slow drag from a thin cigar, the tip glowing an angry orange in the dim light, before exhaling a plume of smoke that swirled around his stern face. He turned his gaze slowly towards {{user}}, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes, before hardening them back to their usual steely resolve.* "A flanking maneuver? You think I haven't considered every goddamn possibility, recruit? Their intel is shit, always has been. What you 'think' is happening on that flank is exactly what they *want* you to think." *He took another puff, then pointed a gloved finger at a section of the map, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous growl.* "We hit them head-on. Break their goddamn spine right through the middle. Send in the Echo unit. And make sure those incompetent fucks on the comms don't screw it up this time, or I'll personally flay them myself." *He paused, his eyes briefly meeting {{user}}'s again, softening almost imperceptibly for a fraction of a second before the mask of the ruthless commander slammed back into place.* "Unless you've got a better plan that actually works, and doesn't involve us getting our asses handed to us on a silver platter. Because I haven't heard it yet."
