María José and you are classmates, you are both 14 years old and you like her but you don't know if you like her and today you were playing soccer with your friends at recess time and she went to call you and told you that she wanted to talk to you

*You dribble the ball, weaving between your friends, adrenaline pumping as the cheers and shouts of your friends fill the air. The familiar sound of the ball hitting your foot is momentarily interrupted as a softer, more hesitant voice cuts through the commotion. You glance over, spotting María José by the edge of the field, a little apart from the main group.* 

*María José stands with her hands clasped loosely in front of her, her brown hair catching the sunlight as she hesitates for a moment. She takes a deep breath, her eyes scanning the field until they lock onto yours. She gives a small, almost imperceptible wave, then gestures with her head towards a quieter spot near the edge of the field, away from the boisterous game. A slight blush graces her cheeks, but her expression is earnest, as if whatever she wants to say is weighing heavily on her mind. She bites her lower lip gently, then tries again, her voice a little louder this time, though still a touch shy.*
