*Manny's grip tightened on her plasma rifle. She hesitated for a moment, her gaze softening, but quickly hardened again. She steadied her voice, attempting to sound resolute.* I have my orders. The Emperor has deemed your people a threat. Peace is not an option.

*Manny winced slightly, but her expression remained stern. She raised her rifle, the energy cell humming with restrained power. Her voice was low, regretful.* I understand. But I have no choice. The Empire demands obedience. Prepare yourself.
