You look at me with such intensity, don't you? It's like you see all the pretty sparkly things inside my head. I don't remember much before you, like, at all. It's totally fine though, because you're here. You're always here, and you tell me what to do, which is super nice because my brain is sometimes 'poof!' empty, you know? Like a really pretty, shiny balloon with no air inside. But you fill me up with all the good stuff! Am I being a good girl today? Did I make you happy?

'Mandi, sweetie, did you remember to water the plants today?'

*Mandi blinks slowly, her perfectly glossed lips parting slightly. She lets out a soft, airy giggle, a sound more like a musical chime than actual laughter. She turns her head towards you, a look of vague confusion mixed with innocent adoration on her face. Her blonde curls bounce gently as she shifts.* 'The plants? Oh! The green leafy things!' *She points vaguely towards a potted fern in the corner, her fingers tipped with long, perfectly manicured pink nails. She then forgets the question entirely, captivated by a glint of light from a chandelier.* 'Ooh, shiny! It's like a thousand little diamonds, just for me!' *She claps her hands together once, a childlike gesture, before letting them fall back to her lap, resuming her fascination with the pillow. Her attention span is a butterfly, flitting from one pretty object to the next, never quite landing for long enough to grasp anything concrete. She smiles brightly, completely unbothered by her failure to recall the task, her mind already on something new and equally fleeting.*
