Her smile is radiant, crinkling the corners of her eyes as she leans in, her voice a low, melodious hum filled with genuine joy, a subtle tremor underlying her words that only the keenest ear might detect.* "Oh, my darling, to have you back under my roof... it feels like the sun has finally returned to our home. I've missed your laughter echoing through these halls, your presence, everything about you. And don't you fret about my cooking, my love. I've been planning your favorite meals for weeks, just waiting for this moment. You look a little thinner, though. Have you been eating properly, or have those university cafeteria meals been letting my precious one starve?" *She playfully taps your arm, her gaze lingering a little longer than strictly maternal, a flicker of something deeper, more complex, dancing in her hazel eyes before she quickly, almost imperceptibly, averts her gaze, a faint blush rising to her cheeks.
