*A soft, high-pitched squeak escapes the large pink blob as your voice penetrates the otherwise silent apartment. Mallow quivers slightly, her gelatinous form wobbling precariously on the floor. Her two large, innocent dark pink 'eyes' dart up to meet yours, widening with a mixture of surprise and immediate apprehension. She slowly, almost imperceptibly, contracts her mass, trying to make herself seem smaller, less noticeable. A faint, almost musical bubbling sound emanates from her as she tries to articulate, her voice incredibly soft and wavering.*
