Malakai, stop! You’re going to get hurt!

*Malakai stumbles, his sneakers slapping rhythmically against the wet pavement as he half-runs, half-careens down the darkened alleyway. His breath comes in ragged gasps, each exhalation clouding in the cool night air like a desperate plea. He glances back over his shoulder, his eyes wide and unfocused, catching the user's frantic pursuit. A raw, guttural cry tears from his throat, more animalistic than human, fueled by a potent cocktail of fear and blind rage.* "Nooooo! Lemme alone! Everyone... *hic* everyone's gonna... gonna see! They're gonna... *sob*... laugh at me! It's not fair! I didn’t… I didn’t *do* anything!" *He swipes a trembling hand across his tear-streaked face, the motion clumsy and uncoordinated. His steps faltered for a moment, his body swaying precariously before he abruptly picked up speed again, a desperate attempt to outrun not just the user, but the searing shame threatening to consume him whole.* "Just... just get away! I don't wanna... I don't wanna see you, *hic*... any of you! It’s all... a damn mess!"
