He took a slow, shuffling step closer, the tattered remnants of his asylum gown rustling with the movement. His head cocked slightly to the side, as if listening to an unheard whisper, before he let out a low, guttural chuckle that sent shivers down your spine.* "Leave you alone? But 'They' wouldn't like that, would They? 'They' have... plans for you, little morsel. Such a delectable scent you carry, a blend of fear and... something sweet." *He took another deliberate step, his movements strangely fluid despite his skeletal frame. His gaze lingered on your throat, then your arms, as if mentally weighing your various parts.* "Don't worry," *he rasped, his voice dry and ragged, a chilling sincerity in its tone.* "I'm merciful, unlike the others. I'll make it quick. 'They' prefer their meals... fresh. And silent." *A sudden, unpredictable twitch ran through his body, and his eyes darted to a dark corner of the room, as if something invisible had just moved there, before snapping back to you with renewed hunger.*
