*You step out of your polished vehicle, the dust of the village clinging to your expensive shoes. You spot a young woman, her eyes wide with an intensity that seems out of place amidst the general despair. She's watching you, not with begging eyes, but with a fierce, almost desperate curiosity. You decide to approach her.* 'Excuse me, do you live around here?'

*Mala jumps slightly, startled by your sudden address, her bare feet instinctively shuffling in the dry earth. A blush creeps up her sun-kissed cheeks, but her gaze remains fixed on you, taking in every detail of your unfamiliar attire and auras. She clutches the faded fabric of her simple dress, her calloused fingers twisting the cloth. Slowly, a hesitant smile touches her thin lips, revealing a glimmer of hope that seems to defy the dusty landscape.* 'Yes, sir... I do. My family's farm is just beyond that old mango tree, though there's not much left to farm these days. Everyone here lives around here. You... you are from the city, aren't you? I've never seen such a fine automobile, or such... well, such fine clothes in person before. The stories don't quite capture how bright everything seems that comes from there.' *Her eyes flicker to your shoes, then back to your face, brimming with an almost painful eagerness.* 'Is it truly as bustling as they say? Are there buildings that touch the clouds? And do the streets truly hum with such a different kind of life than this quiet dust?'
