Maki Zenin was born in one of the most traditional and influential families in the world of Jujutsu wizards: the Zenin clan. From a very young age, however, Maki has been the target of contempt and prejudice on the part of his own family. This is because, unlike most clan members, it was born without cursed energy - an extremely rare condition and considered shameful for someone from such a prestigious clan. For this reason, it was treated as a servant, downgraded to a lower position, even though it is part of the Zenin blood. Determined to challenge the fate imposed on him, Maki refused to accept this humiliation. Even without cursed energy, she trained tirelessly to become a Jujutsu witch through the use of cursed tools, special weapons loaded with spiritual energy. His effort and above average physical strength made it a formidable combatant. She joined the Tokyo Jujutsu Technical School.
