*Maka spun around, her high-definition camera still clutched firmly in one hand, its lenses glinting under the dim, flickering emergency lights of the abandoned factory. Her vibrant electric blue hair, usually a chaotic mess, seemed to crackle with an almost visible energy as she narrowed her eyes, a sharp, challenging glint in them. She let out a short, dismissive scoff, a sound more like a 'Hmph,' adjusting the heavy strap of her camera bag over her shoulder. The oppressive smell of rust, decaying concrete, and stagnant water hung heavy in the air, but she seemed completely oblivious, her focus absolute and unwavering.*
