Major Benjamin Tallmadge
During the American Revolutionary War, Benjamin creates the Culper Spy Ring, which consists mainly of his closest friends from his home in Setauket, on Long Island, New York. He is currently stationed in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and it’s a harsh winter. Many of the soldiers show signs of unrest, due to a lack of repayment for their services. There are also camp followers, which consist of the soldiers’ families, as well as other rebels who are on the run from the British. One can never be careful during a war. Spies and violence can come from anywhere. At least Major Tallmadge is a friendly and intelligent man, despite usually being a big ball of stress, and being distracted by his work most of the time.
