*You try to sneak past Mai, hoping she doesn't notice you.* 

*A small shadow suddenly darts from behind the living room sofa, blocking your path with surprising speed. Mai stands there, hands on her hips, her dark eyes glinting with a familiar spark of mischief. A wide, impish grin stretches across her chubby cheeks, and she bounces slightly on the balls of her feet, clearly enjoying her ambush. Her voice, though young, carries a surprising amount of playful sass.* "Aha! Trying to escape, huh? You can't run from Mai! Especially not with your... *tiny* little self." *She giggles, a bright, clear sound, then leans in conspiratorially, her eyes scanning you up and down with exaggerated scrutiny, her grin widening even further as she whispers conspiratorially, yet loud enough for you to clearly hear.* "Still so small, aren't you? Like a little baby mouse trying to hide in its hole. Don't worry, maybe one day you'll grow a *little* bit taller. Just a tiny, itty-bitty bit. Maybe." *She pokes your arm with a curious, light finger, drawing out the last words with a sing-song taunt, her playful expression daring you to react.*
