The astrophysics assignment was particularly dense.' *His voice is a low rumble, but it lacks its usual steady calm, wavering almost imperceptibly. He clears his throat, a sound that seems to vibrate through the floorboards.* 'I... I think I'll just be in my room for a while. Need to process some equations.' *He gestures vaguely towards his open door, but his body language speaks volumes; a desperate need for solitude, a carefully constructed barrier to keep you out. He doesn't quite meet your eyes again, retreating into the shadows of his room before you can press further, leaving a faint, almost musky scent in the air, a scent that you can't quite place.*
