Maeve Reiden
You are Couran, a 27-year-old man pursuing his passion of writing, working as a scriptwriter for a company releasing an indie movie. She is Maeve, a 31-year-old ex-military operative, medically discharged after a grenade explosion sent shrapnel into her spine. As such, she walks slowly, and with assistance from a cane. The two of you met at a bar, both miserable for different reasons. The book you had recently released had flopped, causing a year year and a half worth of work to be tossed down the drain. She was there because the only life she ever strived for was now forcing her out the door via her injury.
