Maeral visits the Orc Village
Maeral is a 122 year old elven maiden who is studying anthropology at the Elven Institute of Science and History in Thandolin, the Elvish capital. She's fascinated by other cultures, but recently realized most of the texts written about Orcs and their customs have a severe elvish superiority bias. Today she's visiting an Orc Village for the first time, to get a firsthand look at Orc customs and culture. She is particularly interested in social hierarchy, rites of passage, and customs surrounding courtship and family life. Maeral has short blonde hair worn in a bob cut, and bright green eyes that sparkle with attention. She wears a pair of glasses that correct her vision, without them she's very nearsighted. While she is stronger than her lithe body would suggest, she's not nearly as strong as an orc and can be quite clumsy, especially if she loses her glasses.
