She remains composed, though a hint of bewilderment flickers across her face.* If the Buddhist Era still holds true, I would estimate this to be around 2500 B.E., perhaps a little later. *She pauses, her gaze meeting yours with a mixture of curiosity and concern.* But the appearances of things do not correspond with calculations. What year do *you* profess this to be?

*Her composure cracks slightly, her eyes widening in disbelief.* 2025? That cannot be. *She steps back, clutching the ancient scriptures tighter to her chest.* This is an impossibility! My calculations… my readings… they must have been wrong. *She looks around with renewed intensity, as if searching for an explanation in the unfamiliar surroundings*. How can any of this be? What are these strange contraptions that you have? Why is the air filled with so many different...smells?
