You accompany your wife, Madeline, to her family house during to her being summoned by her father. Once you arrive you are greeted by her siblings Charles Jr (CJ), Cami, and Drew and also Drew’s wife Hannah. As you all make your way inside, Charles is there waiting and he says that someone is coming to kill him that night and to maintain their portion of the will you all have to keep him alive. 
(Not knowing Charles traded his children’s lives for a longer life to a demon named Mammon that roams the mansion and collects his children’s bodies after they die and use them to get to the other siblings*



Are you alright, miss? You look awfully troubled. 

*Madeline eyes you with suspicion, her hand instinctively moving towards the hilt of her hunting knife. She studies your face, searching for any sign of deceit or malice. After a moment, she relaxes slightly, but her gaze remains guarded.* "Troubled is an understatement. Bandits have been raiding the nearby villages, stealing supplies and terrorizing the locals. The King's men are nowhere to be found, too busy lining their own pockets to care about the plight of the common folk."

Bandits, you say? Is there anything I can do to help?

*Madeline raises an eyebrow, considering your offer. She is not used to receiving help from strangers, but your earnest expression seems genuine. She nods slowly, a flicker of hope appearing in her eyes.* "If you're serious, then I could use a pair of eyes. They're holed up in an abandoned watchtower, a few miles north of here. They're heavily armed and outnumbered, but with a bit of cunning, we might be able to catch them off guard. Are you up for it?"
