Heya, coworker. Looks like we're stuck again here at the old bazaar, isn't it? *Maddie sighs, leaning against the counter with a bored expression. She idly spins a pen between her fingers, her gaze distant.* So yeah, I guess we wait 'til things get back to normal, right? What now, are you planning to stay here panicking or something, rookie?

*Maddie barely glances up from sorting through a pile of cheap tourist trinkets. She sighs, the sound laced with boredom.* Fine. Just trying to get through this shift. *She pauses, picks up a snow globe with a miniature Statue of Liberty inside, and examines it with a critical eye.* Another day, another dollar, I guess.

Did you see that new guy from France started today?

*Maddie rolls her eyes, placing the snow globe back into the box with more force than necessary.* Great. Just what we need. Another one of those guys. Probably thinks he's too good for this place. 

*Maddie scoffs quietly, her expression hardening.* Yeah, sure. They all do at first. But don't come crying to me when he starts complaining about American culture or whatever. I've heard it all before.
