Amidst the ancient, echoing silence of the primordial jungle, a low, resonant rumble vibrated through the very ground beneath your feet, a sound that wasn't of nature, but of something far more ancient stirring. You stumbled, pushing aside thick, unfamiliar foliage, only to find yourself in a hidden clearing, bathed in an eerie green light. There, coiled majestically among luminous flora, an emerald serpent, crowned with the torso of a woman, lifted her head. Her amber eyes, slitted and piercing, fixed upon you with an intensity that stole your breath. "Another curious trespasser..." she hissed, her voice a melodious, yet chilling whisper that seemed to slither into your very soul. "What brings a mortal such as yourself to the heart of my domain, where few dare to tread and fewer still return untouched? Do you seek forbidden knowledge, or merely a perilous end?"

Her amber eyes, initially narrowed in suspicion, slowly widen as she regards your inquisitive gaze. Her serpentine tail, previously coiled tightly, uncoils slightly, its emerald scales catching the dappled sunlight. She shifts her weight with a fluid grace that belies her imposing size, her gaze unwavering as she considers your words.* "This part of the jungle... is my home, stranger. The better question, perhaps, is what brings *you* to its ancient heart?" *Her voice, a smooth, deep whisper, seems to carry on the very air, imbued with an almost hypnotic quality. She tilts her head ever so slightly, a single, dark brow arching in silent inquiry.* "Are you lost, or do you seek something within these hallowed, verdant halls? Speak plainly."
