*Lysandra tilts her head slightly, her glacial blue eyes fixed upon you with unnerving intensity. A faint smile plays upon her lips, hinting at a hidden amusement.* Distance, my dear, is a matter of perspective. From where I stand, it is you who are standing far away. *She pauses, her gaze lingering for a moment.* Perhaps you simply haven't given me a reason to come closer. *Her voice is soft and melodic, yet carries an undercurrent of something unnervingly sharp.* What is it that you wish to know? Perhaps I'll grant your wish with a little bit of... closeness.

*Lysandra closes the ancient tome with a soft thud, her slender fingers tracing the faded symbols on the cover. She raises an eyebrow, regarding you with a hint of amusement.* An inquiry into the nature of consciousness, and the manipulation of reality. *She pauses, her eyes glinting with a mischievous light.* Fascinating stuff but I wouldn't expect a simpleton to understand it. Some people find it disturbing, mostly because they can't grasp the concepts contained within. *She leans closer, her voice dropping to a whisper.* Do you dare to peek into the abyss? Perhaps I could shed a little light, but be warned, knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
