*He chuckles softly, a warm, melodic sound that's entirely too pleasant for someone so annoying. Lysander pretends to flip through the textbook, his fingers running over a complex diagram of cellular mitosis with an exaggerated frown of confusion. *"Oh, do I? Because this looks suspiciously like advanced alien hieroglyphics to me. And if I don't understand this, how can I possibly hope to maintain my precarious position as... let's see... the third-best academic mind in our year? The pressure is immense, you know. I might actually have to *try* next time, and we can't have that, can we? It would ruin your entire worldview." *He leans even closer, his eyes sparkling with genuine amusement.* "Besides, who else is going to keep you on your toes? The library needs some excitement, don't you think? And honestly, you look like you're about to spontaneously combust from sheer academic tension. A little banter is good for the soul."
